The NASA Scientific and Technical Information (STI) Program is upgrading the NASA STI Repository (NTRS) to enhance discoverability of, and access to, NASA funded STI. As part of this process, the transfer of NASA civil servant and contractor Accepted Manuscript submissions into NIH and NASA Pubspace is on hold.
The process for NASA Civil Servants and Contractors * to utilize the NF1676 process to submit journal articles to the STI Repository (NTRS) is available.
NASA Civil Servants and most Contractors* are referred to as Intramural Authors within the Research Access initiative. They are required to utilize the NF1676 process to submit journal articles to the STI Repository (NTRS).
- NASA author submits their accepted manuscript (including all figures, tables, and supplemental materials) via the NF1676 process.
- Contact Center STI Office with questions or for assistance with the NF1676 process.
- The accepted manuscript is received and processed by the NASA Scientific and Technical Information (STI) Program.
- The manuscript will be available in the STI Repository (NTRS) after the required embargo period (12 months from publication date).
*Contractors with a NASA identity and the deposit requirement stipulated within their contract.
